LIGHT

1 John 1:5

"This is the message we have heard from him and
declare to you: God is light; in him there is no
darkness at all." (NIV)

"This then is the message which we have heard of
him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in
him is no darkness at all." (KJV)

The disciples that walked, lived, and sat at the feet
of Jesus have given us an important message from
Jesus Christ himself. Our God is the source of wisdom,
knowledge, holiness, and joy. There is no other source
and there is no darkness in God. Without God, the light,
we would have no understanding and nothing to help us
find our way. This is the message He gave to us. If we
walk in the light, we will be living in God, who is all
wisdom, knowledge, holiness, and joy.

Heavenly Father, how thankful we are that your Son,
Jesus Christ came to earth and left us with the message
that You are Light. Help us, Lord, to walk in You, the Light,
and to let that light shine to everyone we meet. We ask
this is the name of Jesus, Amen.

So true---follow the LIGHT. So easy to become trapped in the darkness of our own making, but we must remember to stay focused on the LIGHT. Thank you for posting!

How true. I'm so thankful for the light. How sad it would be to wander in darkness all of our lives. Sadly so many are doing just that. I pray that more and more people will come to the light. Thank you for sharing this message.
Blessings,
Charlotte
