James 3:13
"Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him
show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility
that comes from wisdom." (NIV)
"Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among
you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works
with meekness of wisdom." (KJV)
There are so many self proclaimed teachers and leaders
who speak with great eloquence and convincing words.
God's word says it takes much more for a teacher called
by God. There must be evidence of wisdom and
knowledge that not only comes out in speech, but is
evident in consistent and holy daily living. Humility
with wisdom and knowledge identifies the true teachers
of God.
Heavenly Father, we thank you and praise you that you
have called people to be wise and knowledgeable in
the things of God so they can teach and bring others
into a deeper faith. Help us, Lord, to discern those who
are truly called by you by allowing us to see consistency
in their lives and humility in their countenance. We ask
in Jesus' name. Amen.

"Humility which comes from wisdom"--- such eternal words of truth. Thanks for your post!
There are many speakers/preachers with wisdom, but few who also have true humility. That is such a rare quality and when someone has it, they do shine with the Light of Christ. I know someone like that and am blessed by his pesence in my life.
