FREE IN GOD, SERVANT TO OTHERS

1 Corinthians 9:19

"Though I am free and belong to no man, I make
myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as
possible." (NIV)

"For though I be free from all men, yet have I made
myself servant unto all, that I might gain the
more." (KJV)

If we have the key that unlocks the prison door and
takes us to blessed freedom, why would we not want
to pass that key on to others, so that they will be free
and be able to pass the key on to others? That's just
what happens when we accept Jesus Christ as our
Saviour. We are set free. To take the time, energy, and
effort to share the gospel message with others, is to
make ourselves servants to those who need the Word.

Heavenly Father, we ask your forgiveness for being
selfish with out time, talents, money, and energy. At
times we get our focus off of why we are here. Help
us to remember that someone took the time to share
the gospel with us. Help us to be servants to those who
need to hear the good news. We pray in Jesus' name.
Amen.

Bobbi - This is one of my many favorite verses. As believers in Christ we all must strive to be like the Master and be a servant to all those lost souls out there in the world. Our goal is to bring them all home to our Lord. Blessings, Lloyd
