WHAT HE HAS DONE

Isn't it a bit gratifying to think for a few moments about
some of the things we've done in our lives that have been
good. There's nothing wrong with remembering and feeling
good that we have accomplished something. The problem
comes when we fail to remember that it is the Lord who
has done all good things through us. He gave us the talent,
the time, the strength, the gift, the very breath to complete
those things. Without Him, we are nothing.

Heavenly Father, forgive us when we fail to remember all You
have done through us and for us. Help us to always give You
glory for all things because without You we can do nothing.
In Jesus' name.

Read Isaiah 26:12

"Lord, you establish peace for us; all that we have
accomplished you have done for us." (NIV)

"Lord, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also
hast wrought all our works in us." (KJV)

How true. Our flesh wants to take the credit. But we are only branches and one snip from the vine and we're toast.
