SET YOUR MIND

Our minds are bombarded with information, lifestyle needs,
and things that grab our attention. So often God is crowded
out by all these things going on in and around us. We have
to make the choice to think abut the things of God in order
to stay on the narrow path and to see God working in our
lives.

Heavenly Father, we need your help in keeping the things
of this world from taking over our attention preventing us
from thinking about you and the lives you want us to live.
Please help us to keep our minds focused on you. In Jesus'
name.

Read Colossians 3:2

"Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things."
(NIV)

"Set your affection on things above, not on things on the
earth." (KJV)

I think it ties in with the importance of us, needing to be still so we can know He is God! Blessings to you.
