TRUST THE NAME

What's in a name? If we do a search and study on the names
of God, we will be amazed at how many names God has been
given by humanity. Each time God's intervention was evident,
He was given a name that reflected the situation, i.e. God
who provides, God who heals. God revealed His true name to
Moses at the burning bush: I AM. The more we know God and
His attributes revealed in His names, the more we will trust
Him. The greatest leap of faith is in knowing Him as 'I AM.'

Heavenly Father, we praise you because you are the only
true God. We thank you that you reveal yourself to us
through your mighty works. We ask that you would give us
the desire to know you more so that our trust in you will
grow. In Jesus' name.

Read Psalm 9:10

"Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, Lord,
have never forsaken those who seek you." (NIV)

"And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for
thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee." (KJV)

One of my very favorite things about God is that He never changes. We change, change is inevitable and lots of times unwanted but our Father is the same yesterday, today and forever. We can count on that. Amen!
God bless!

God is almighty and when people hear his name people think twice about what they are about to say, because they know of His power. They know He is watching.

God has appeared before us in many forms and He still does today, but in more subtle ways.

He gives us our miracles, when we pray and believe. He knows we are human and that we sin, yet He still forgives. He is God the Almighty and his name reflects His power.

Thank you for commenting on my post today; it is greatly appreciated. Write on and God bless!
