PRIDE HINDERS WISDOM

If we insist that we have the answer, that we need
no more information, that we know enough, we are
close minded and full of pride. We can have our own
beliefs, but if we listen to those that we know to be
full of Godly wisdom, we will gain knowledge and
wisdom. We are never so wise that we don't need
to be open to God's wisdom.

Heavenly Father, forgive us for being prideful and for
feeling we have the answers. Help us to surround
ourselves with Godly people who are full of wisdom
and to have the humility to accept truths you would
have us to know. In Jesus' name.

Read Proverbs 13:10

"Pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is found in
those who take advice." (NIV)

"Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well
advised is wisdom." (KJV)
