OUR WEAKNESS, HIS POWER

How could we expect to break laws and rules without
ever having to own up to it and pay the price. We all have
committed wrongs against God and our fellow men. If we
were to be called into account for them now we would be
in the most desperate of places. But God in His infinite
wisdom knew we would be strong in intentions and weak
in spirit, so He sent Jesus Christ to settle all those accounts
for us. It is in His name we are made righteous.

Heavenly Father, please forgive us for our weaknesses and
our transgressions. We are unworthy of Your grace and
mercy, but You are the God who gives us the way to be
worthy in Your eyes. Thank you for sending Jesus Christ.
It is in His name we pray.

Read Psalm 25:11

"For the sake of your name, O Lord, forgive my iniquity,
though it is great." (NIV)

"For thy name's sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for
it is great." (KJV)
