It is usually the case that when we are about to do something we
know is displeasing to God or even illegal in man's eyes, we do our
best to hide it, disguise it, and make certain no one sees. Don't be
fooled! God sees every move we make, every move. Not only does
He see it, He thinks about it and makes rightful judgement about it.
If we confess and repent, God is faithful to forgive us. If we continue
to do those same "hidden," sinful things, God will allow us to reap
the terrible judgement we have sown.

Read Proverbs 5:21

"For a man's ways are in full view of the Lord and He examines all
his paths." (NIV)

"For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he
pondereth all his goings." (KJV)
