CHRIST IN US

Galatians 2:20

"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who love me and gave himself for me."NIV

"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."KJV

Exactly what does it mean to be crucified with Christ? It is to no longer be affected or influenced by the things of this world, but instead, it is to have the desire for and to be influenced by Him. Even though we still live in this world, our life and energy come from Christ when we have been crucified with Him. By faith, our confidence is in Him, who raised us up with Him, and who gave His all for us.

Heavenly Father, we ask that You would help us to understand that being crucified with You means we no longer have any control over our lives, but all control is given to You. Help us to trust and obey the Spirit of Christ that lives within us. We pray in His name, Amen.

I want to crucify my flesh daily so that I could truly be the image of God that He created me to be!

The world has so many snares and nets to capture our hearts away from Jesus, some days it seems I need prayer every hour to crucify my flesh to be all the Lord wants me to be in Him. Excellent verses.
Blessings.
