1 Corinthians 15:58 "Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." NIV "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for as much as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord." KJV When we think of labor, we tend to visualize physical and mental effort, especially of a hard and tiring kind. In fact, the world does not consider labor a blessing at all. The world runs from it if possible. For those who fear the Lord and love Him, labor is met with a cheerful and ready heart, because we know it is God's command and we acknowledge the calling. Service to the Lord is not something to dread, but a gift from our God in which we grow more like Him and continually take in the peace and joy of the Lord. Let us stand firm, keeping up the work the Lord has given us to do. Heavenly Father, forgive us for our spiritual laziness when we become slack and just want to give up. Help us to draw on the strength You so long to give us. Help us to stand firm, working for Your Kingdom. We know we will have victory if we do not give up. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen. ©2011 Daily Grace Bobbi Craigmyle, Psy.D., BCPCC No Copyright Infringement Intended Personal Use Only | ||

Amen.
Thank you Bobbi for this message. God bless, Lloyd
Amen. I've heard that if you like the work you do it doesn't even seem like work. When you love your job you are eager to go each day. It is even fun. I think it is or at least should be that way with doing the Lord's work. Your prayer is my prayer too, Dr. Bobbi.
Blessings,
Charlotte
