UNLIFTING THE VEIL

If we keep our eyes on the Lord and focus on Him alone, He will show us plainly the meaning of His words and the true nature of Himself. Our understanding of the Bible will have clarity and provide revelation of His will. If our eyes are on the world or our circumstances, the veil will remain.

Heavenly Father, we pray that You will help us to stay focused on You so that we may see clearly and truly know You and Your will. In Jesus' name.

Read 2 Corinthians 3:16

"But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away." (NIV)

"Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away." (KJV)

Geoff Maritz said...: God refers to His house as a house of prayer. That is where He is. When we pray we enter God's house and come into His presence, When you are in the presence of God you have gone beyond the veil. If we could only remain in his presence all the time things would be so different.
