TRUE CONTENTMENT




True contentment is not affected by the state of things going on around
us. If it was, we would seldom, if ever, know contentment. In the most
desperate of circumstances, we can find God working, something to
learn, lessons that make us more mature. Knowing that God has a plan
and is in control is true contentment.

Read Philippians 4:12

"I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty.
I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation,
whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want." (NIV)

"I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where
and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need." (KJV)
