WINGS OF SAFETY

 
 
Psalm 36:7


"How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings." NIV


"How excellent is thy loving kindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of they wings." KJV

The Lord God has never failed us. He has never turned His back on us when we have come to Him with a contrite heart. He is love and has always loved us even when we could not have cared less. There is no doubt or fear that God's love is faithful and can be relied on no matter what. We can run to Him for cover just as the little chicks run to the mother hen and hide themselves under the safety of her wings. What peace and security!


Heavenly Father, how we stand in awe of Your unfailing love and grace toward us. You have shown us over and over throughout time that You are faithful. We thank You and praise You for being our haven of safety, for providing the shadow of Your wings to protect and keep us. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, Amen.
