Jesus said He is
the Light of the world, and that He is, the One and Only true light. When we
became His children, He put His light within us so that we and the whole world
would know that we are His. How can the light within us not be seen? All light
shines out into the dark and the dark goes away. What does it mean that we shine
as lights in the world? If we are living as Christ has shown us and we follow
Him, everyone will see that we are His. Our lives will automatically reflect the
light and love of Jesus.
Heavenly Father,
forgive us for hiding our light for whatever reasons. Give us boldness through
the Holy Spirit to walk in Your steps and let our lights shine freely out into
this dark world so that others will know the Way. In His precious name we pray,
Amen.
