GOD'S PROMISES

Hebrews 10:23

"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful." NIV

"Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering, (for he is faithful that promised.)" KJV

The promises of God will keep us and sustain us through all the difficult times we encounter in this life. We know that Jesus understands the problems we face and empathizes with us in our darkest hours. If we look to His promises contained in His Word, we will go through the difficult times with a lot less stress and more hope.

Heavenly Father, we just can't realize how fortunate we are to have such a God that would supply us with everything we need, including Your promises that bring us comfort and hope. Lead us to those promises through Your Word and through others who have this Word buried in their hearts so that we may be comforted. In Jesus' name, Amen.
