OUR HEART IS WITH OUR TREASURE

Matthew 6:21

"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be
also." (NIV)

"For where your treasure is, there will your heart be
also." (KJV)

If we find a treasure, we do all we can to protect it, to
guard it, and to preserve it. Our thoughts will return to
our treasure and we will want to check on it and make
sure it is safe and secure. The question is: Where is our
treasure? Is it contained here as a part of this world, or
is it in the eternal place where our God dwells? What
does our mind think about the most? That is where our
treasure is.

Heavenly Father, how thankful we are that you have
provided the greatest treasure for us and that you
keep it and guard it so that we may enjoy it for eternity.
Help us, Lord, to enjoy the things here that you have
given to us to enjoy, but to always keep in mind that
this is all temporary. Our treasure is in heaven with You.
We pray this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Thank you Bobbie for this message from God's Word. Sometimes I need to be reminded that everything I have belongs to God. All material things are temporary but the things that are spiritual are eternal. We must never put any material blessing that our Lord has given us above the love of God. Blessings, Lloyd
