LIGHT

Once we've been in a dark room for a while, our eyes
seem to adjust, at least to where we can barely see
things enough to get by. That is exactly how each of
lives in this world before we accept Jesus Christ as our
personal Saviour. We see enough to get by and enough
to feel that we don't need to change the way we live.
Once the Light comes on, we become amazed at the
things we missed, the things we misunderstood, and the
things we didn't even know were there. Living in the
Light allows us to live life to its' fullest and to see the
truth of God and His creation.

Heavenly Father, forgive those of us who still feel that
we have enough light on our own to make it in this
world. Help us all to walk in Your light so we can know
the truth. In Jesus' name.

Read John 8:12

"When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, 'I am
the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never
walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." (NIV)

"Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the
light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk
in darkness, but shall have the light of life." (KJV)

I was suppose to see this today. I've been having some rough spots and have spent a good deal of time in prayer over issues. I have to pray even if only to ask God to keep me on His path. Wonderful post. Tammy
