WORDS OF JESUS CHRIST

Do we truly realize how critical it is to know the
teachings of Jesus Christ? Do we understand that
His words are the key to being able to stand in the
darkest and most turbulent times in our lives? Jesus
said we are not only to listen to them, but live them
so they become a part of us. This will give us the
strength we need to stand victoriously when the
storms of life come.

Heavenly Father, forgive us for the times we have
not taken your words to heart and have not made
them a part of our daily living. We pray for the
awareness of your teachings and how to put them
into practice. Give us that deep reverence and
hunger for your words, so that we will seek them
out until they become a part of us. In Jesus'
name.

Read Matthew 7:24

"Therefore everyone who hears these words of
mine and puts them into practice is like a wise
man who built his house on the rock." (NIV)

"Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of
mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise
man, which built his house upon a rock." (KJV)
