"I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better." Ephesians 1:17 (NIV)

THERE IS UNBELIEF IN ME!

Mark 9:23,24
"And Jesus said to him, 'If you can! All things are possible for one who believes.' Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, 'I believe; help my unbelief!'" ESV

It is quite an easy thing to fully trust the Lord for the small things and for others who need a touch from Him. The problem comes when we see no way a thing can be accomplished and it appears there is nothing that can be done. That's when we begin to fret and doubt. This doubt is a doorway for the evil one to slowly eat away at our faith and make us ineffective Christians. Never forget that we can be completely reliant on Him to hear us and answer us according to His will and our best interest. Trust Him no matter what things look like around us.

Heavenly Father, we thank You and give You praise for Your power and never changing grace. Forgive us for losing our trust when things don't seem to be going right. Help us trust in You no matter what because You will bring us to victory in all things. We pray in the name of Jesus, Amen.

REMEMBER WHERE YOU CAME FROM

Rather than judging others, we need to remember where we came from,
what we were when the Lord found us. We were ignorant of the Truth,
doing our own thing, thinking we knew what we were doing, satisfying
our selfish wants, and scowling at those who questioned us.

Heavenly Father, bring to our minds our own depraved state we were in
when you found us, before we accepted you as our Saviour. Give us love and the urgency to pray for those who are still imprisoned there, that we won't judge them. In Jesus' name.

Read Titus 3:3

"At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by
all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being
hated and hating one another." (NIV)

"For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived,
serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another." (KJV)

STRONG HEARTS

The children of Israel, who had the promise of a new land, complained
and disobeyed until God took the promised land from them, and when
the last of them had died, their descendants were allowed to enter it.
We, as children of God, are warned to keep our faith strong so that we
can enter God's promised blessings of eternal life right now. We can keep our faith and belief in God by encouraging and being encouraged by our fellow Christians.

Read Hebrews 3:12,13

"See to it brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart
that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily,
as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by
sin's deceitfulness. (NIV)

"Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin." (KJV)
