ANGRY VS PEACEFUL




An angry man is one who carries his resentments too far. As a result, he takes advantage of opportunities to create arguments and quarreling. A man who is slow to anger goes the extra mile to make peace where strife

LAST DAY FRAUDS



It would be wise to study and know God's Word and the warnings given by the men who walked with our Lord. They told us to be aware and ready for seducing men who follow their own ideas and desires and try to get us to follow along with them. They create a religious environment that condones and minimizes sin as if it were nothing at all and produces no remorse or guilt. These people do not have God's Holy Spirit at all. Be on the alert.

Read Jude 17-19

"But dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. They said to you, 'In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires. These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.'"

CLEAN HEART, GOD LISTENS




If I am purposefully refusing to abandon all sin or know there is sin in my heart and do nothing about it, God will not listen to my prayers. My prayers are acceptable to God when they come from a heart that is serious about getting rid of sin.

TRUE STATE OF THE HEART


Without Christ, the heart of a human being operates like the great deceiver, Satan. To be deceived is to believe a lie. Without Christ and His Holy Spirit who leads us into all truth, we are deceived by evil and don't even recognize it.

BORN AGAIN




We were created by God to be totally and completely alive so that we could have open communication and relationship with Him. Since sin has entered the world, to be able to have this relationship with God, it is necessary that we all have two births. The first one is the physical birth of the body and mind so that we can see and experience this world. The second one is the birth of the spirit which comes from above so that we can see and experience the kingdom of God. Without the second birth, the spirit of man remains in darkness and alienation from his Creator, God Almighty.

BAPTISM


Baptism is the public act by an individual that proclaims the old life of sin and self is now dead, and the new life of faith and obedience is now alive. Just as Jesus died with the whole world's burden of sin and selfishness, through the Father's power, He came alive again to pave the way for new life in Him.

CAPTIVE OF CHRIST OR SIN?




Being in the presence of God is an extremely humbling experience, simply due
to the stark contrast between His perfect holiness and our natural unworthiness. When we are fully aware of this contrast, we can humbly come to God and offer our services, knowing the He makes us worthy by the power of His Son and the Holy Spirit. We become witnesses for Him. What an honor!

CAPTIVATED




Being a slave to sin is the same as being captivated by it. When we are captivated by something or someone, we are held to it by attraction, attention, or interest. If we allow our captivation to continue, we become slaves to it. If we become captivated by the things of this world, we will be in sin and will reap the consequences of sin. If we become captivated by Christ, we will produce the fruit and likeness of Christ.

THE INTERNAL CONFLICT



Be aware that there is a conflict within us. This conflict is between the desire to do those things that are good and pleasing to our Lord and the desire to do those things that are pleasing and satisfying to us, but are displeasing to our Lord. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we can exercise the power of God within us to love and do what is good and right while overthrowing the love of evil.

The strongest and most able bodied young men become worn out with earthly toils and trials. But not God! So if you put your trust in Him, you will never get tired or weary. To expect God to move in your life is like a farmer who plows, plants, and waits for the crop. God always comes through. Knowing this puts a strength in us this world can never match or duplicate.

AS A SOUL WINNER




Some people are skeptical and indecisive. As Christians, we are to approach them with kindness and understanding when sharing the Gospel. There are others who are hardened and don't want to listen. We are to use all Godly means to persuade them, and approach them with fervor, as though warning them they are about to fall off a cliff. We are warned to be careful so as not to get so close to the edge of the cliff in sharing the Gospel, that we fall
from the cliff.

CONFESS

DON'T PUT OUT THE FIRE
