CONTENTMENT 101

Philippians 4:11

"Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content." ESV

How can anyone in this world be content when there are so many obstacles and problems facing us day after day? We can be content because we know this world is temporary. We have a hope, Jesus Christ, who will never leave us and will work all things out for our good. We can be content resting our faith in Him.

Lord, it is so hard to keep the problems of this world from robbing us of contentment. We humbly ask for Your help to keep our minds and hearts focused on You. We thank You for Your peace that You offer us every moment. In Your faithful name we pray, Amen.
