We did not seek out salvation. By God's grace, the Gospel found us when
we were spiritually dead and bankrupt. If our salvation were dependent
on our own doing, we would remain spiritually dead. Because of this
truth, none of us can brag or think we are better than others.
Read Ephesians 2:8,9
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from
yourselves, it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast."
(NIV)
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (KJV)

God's love and forgiveness is what brought us back into right relationship with Him. What excuse do we have for refusing to show compassion and forgiveness to those who have wronged us? Just pass it on.
Read Colossians 3:13
"Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." (NIV)
"Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye." (KJV)

The Lord has commanded us and is depending on us to help the poor
and disadvantaged in this world. We are to be his arm reaching out
to them. They are all around us and we have more to give than we
realize.
Read Deuteronomy 15:11
"There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore, I command
you to be openhanded toward your brothers and toward the poor
and needy in your land."

Read 2 Corinthians 9:6

whoever sows generously will also reap generously.
