Matthew
5:45
" . . .He
causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous
and the unrighteous."NIV
" . . .For
he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the
just and on the unjust."KJV
We may sometimes
feel that we have been singled out to receive trials and tribulations while
others seem to be getting along just fine. Jesus told us we would have trouble
in this world. How can we forget that? Adversity and problems come to everyone
in this world. The difference between the just and the unjust is that God has
promised to be with the just, His children, through all trouble. How can we
forget that?
Heavenly Father,
sometimes we forget that the trouble we experience is not specific just for us,
but that all people, the just and unjust, experience problems. Help us to
remember and to rejoice that You are with us in our troubles and will never
leave us. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Thank you. I was reminded yesterday that I don't always have the "right" to understand why!
What a wonderful reminder! Our God is always with us - even when our eyes are so tightly shut we cannot see Him!
