When Jesus went to
the cross, He went to the depths of hell and took the keys of death away from
Satan. The enemy makes a lot of noise in our spirits and provokes us with fear,
but it is only noise because Jesus Christ crushed his head and rendered him
powerless. We no longer need to fear the enemy. We only need look to our Lord
and Saviour Jesus Christ and believe in Him. He will guard us and stay at our
side. What peace that brings to our hearts.
Heavenly Father,
how we praise You for sending Jesus Christ to take all our sins to the cross and
for His resurrection from the dead because he took the power of death away from
Satan. Help us to remember that we no longer have to fear what Satan might do to
us. His head is crushed and he has no power. Strengthen our faith to get this
truth deep within our souls, we ask in Jesus' name, Amen.
