USE OUR GIFTS

So many Christians either don't believe they have been
given a gift from God or they refuse to acknowledge they
have a gift. The fact is, every one of us has been given
a spiritual gift from God. Our gift is not for us to feel
good about ourselves or to use for our own purposes.
We have been entrusted with gifts to serve others and
to glorify the Lord. If we don't know what our gift is,
we can pray that the Lord will reveal it to us and He
will.

Heavenly Father, how we thank you for counting us
worthy to receive your gifts. Help us to recognize the
gifts within us and to use them wisely, with love in
serving others. May you be glorified through the gifts
you have given us as we use these gifts to serve
others. In Jesus' name.

1 Peter 4:10

"Each one should use whatever gift he has received
to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace
in its various forms." (NIV)

"As every man hath received the gift, even so
minister the same one to another, as good stewards
of the manifold grace of God." (KJV)

Good Morning Sweet Friend...
Happy Spiritual Sunday, and what a beautiful share today. I too believe that we all are given a gift to serve our Heavenly Father.

I can still hear my Grandma saying, "Please come in and sit down, we always have enough for one more plate." This was to any stranger that came to her back door.

She too believed that angels walked amongst us and that we should never turn a stranger away. Be kind to everyone as you never know who you might be serving. I have continued this in my life too. Even if it is to smile at a stranger and say hello. Sometimes that is all one needs to hang on a little longer.

Thank you for sharing. Please stop by Country Wings in Phoenix, my blog. Guideposts magazine is donating one dollar for every comment left towards the next miracle makeover during this miracle weekend. I know there are many others out there just waiting to be found.

Country hugs sweet friend, Sherry
