HEART SIN

We would never commit a terrible and unforbidden act in the
open where others could see, would we? But are we just as
concerned about committing those same acts in the privacy
of our mind and heart, where God sees? If we continue to
feed those thoughts and desires, we are as guilty as if we
outwardly did them. Jesus says to get as far away as we
can from anything that feeds or stimulates those desires.

Read Matthew 5:27,28

"You have heard that it was said, 'Do not commit adultery.'
But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully
has already committed adultery with her in his heart."

"Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou
shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That
whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath
committed adultery with her already in his heart." (KJV)

Wow, thank you for posting this. We may appear beautiful on the outside, but who are we on the inside? That's who we really are. That is the person God is going to judge, not the person we pretend to be.

We should make sure we aren't sinning in our hearts because inward sin will eventually come out!

Excellent post!
