battle between our spirits and our human natures. Jesus
plainly tells us that we will not be fruitful for His kingdom
unless we surrender our human natures so that our spirit
will thrive and produce abundance for God and for others.
There is no other way to be productive for Him. Watch what
happens to one seed when you plant it, bury it in the ground.
Watch what happens to the seed when you just hold it in your
hand.
Heavenly Father, we humbly ask that you would give us
awareness of this battle between our spirits and our
humanity. Help us to die to our humanity so that our
spiritual life can produce fruit for your kingdom. We ask
this in Jesus' name.
Read John 12:24
"I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the
ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it
dies, it produces many seeds." (NIV)
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into
the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth
forth much fruit." (KJV)
