DOING WHAT GOD HATES

 
 
 
Zechariah 8:17

 

"Do not devise evil in your hearts against one another, and love no false oath, for all these things I hate, declares the Lord." ESV

 

Our God has made it very clear that He detests gossip that contains half truths, lies, and degrading messages aimed at others. Just as much, He abhors deceitfulness and thinking up ways to wrongfully treat or cause humiliation to another.

 

Heavenly Father, search our hearts to see if we are harboring any of these things You hate so that we can confess them, repent of them, and live our lives holy and clean before You and in the presence of those around us. We humbly pray in the name of Jesus, Amen.
