CONSIDER HIM

 
Hebrews 12:3


"Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart."NIV


"For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds."KJV


As Christians, many of us become weak kneed and miserable because of the stress we experience just living in this world. How many of us experience persecution because we are Christians? If we have trouble staying strong during life's trials, how are we going to stand up under true persecution for our faith in Christ?


Heavenly Father, help us to understand that our relationship with You is not all about getting us through the difficulties of this life. You have promised that You will always be with us through the good and the bad times. Give us hearts of determination and faith to stand when the enemy fights us because of our faith in You. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
