2 Corinthians 10:17

"But let him who boasts boast in the Lord." NIV

"But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord." KJV

Any work we do for the Lord is part of a series of works that will result in God's glory and the saving of souls. It is always a joy to know we have been used by God in His work. If we take credit for the work or for being selected by God to do the work, we rob God of His glory. We can claim the victory and give credit to God, counting ourselves blessed to be among the redeemed.

Heavenly Father, we are always honored and amazed when you do your work through us. Forgive us when we get caught up in the glory of the work we did and fail to give the glory to you. You are the one who gives the power and ability to us to be conduits for you. Help us to always give you the glory that is yours. In Jesus' name, Amen

Even when we accomplish something "on our own" it is because God gave us our talents and opportunities. Praise be to God!

This is so true. To God be the glory for everything He does through us.

A good reminder for me. "All that I have and ever hope to be, I owe it all to Him."
