Looking back over all the great men and women of the
Bible, we see that they lived their lives looking forward
to what God promised them. They did not see the promise
in their lifetime. But they will see it with all of us who live
our lives looking ahead for the fulfillment of His promise.
We will enter into His promise together. So keep going
ahead in Christ looking forward for that great time.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your great and
precious promises. Even though we may not see them
come to pass now, we know they will come to pass
and we will see them. Help us to remember that.
In Jesus' name.

Read Hebrews 11:39,40

"These were commended for their faith, yet none of them
received what had been promised. God had planned
something better for us so that only together with us would
they be made perfect." (NIV)

"And these all, having obtained a good report through faith,
received not the promise: God having provided some better
thing for us, that they without us should not be made
perfect." (KJV)
