Revelation 3:5
"The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and His angels." NIV
"He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels." KJV
During a census, the name of every person who becomes deceased is removed from the census book. Christ will write the name of the true believer, the overcomer, into the Book of Life, the census of heaven so to speak. There is a vast difference between the Book of Life and the earthly census. The name of the overcomer will never be removed because he will never die. Christ will bring his name before the Father and the angels declaring that this is one of the children the Father gave Him. Christ will not lose a single one of His children.
Heavenly Father, O how amazing is Your love and grace to us that You would give us the security of knowing we are in the book of life forever. We earnestly seek Your grace to remain overcomers and bring others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We pray in His blessed name, Amen.
