THE SAME POWER
1 Corinthians 6:14
"By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also." NIV
"And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power." KJV
What an honor to our bodies that God will use His same mighty power to bring us alive from the dead just as He did Jesus Christ. Knowing this, how could we ever do anything to dishonor our bodies that God cherishes as much as He cherishes His Son?
Heavenly Father, we give you thanks and praise for this promise of your mighty power raising us from the dead, just as you did our Lord. What hope that gives us and what a loving God you are. In Jesus' name, Amen.
