When we think about the laws and statutes of God,
it seems contrary to the fact that, in Christ, we are
totally free. If we are free, why do we need laws and
statutes? God's laws and statutes are written on our
hearts to give us guidelines for keeping our ways
separate from the ways of the world and to live lives
of abundance in the shelter of His loving arms.
Heavenly Father, we thank you for giving your laws
and statutes to us so that we can live freely in the
shelter of your care. Help us to be aware of your
guidelines revealed to us by your Holy Spirit, so that
we can be Your people, separate from the world.
We pray this in Jesus' name.
