Jesus Christ lived on the earth as a man and faced the same trials and tribulations we face. Unlike us, He did it without ever sinning. Because He did that, we can go directly to the throne of the Father with confidence, not fearing. We can ask for and receive mercy and grace whenever we need it.
Heavenly Father, we thank you for your Son, who knows what it is like to live in this world and did so without sin. We praise you for our being able to come to you with full confidence and freedom to receive your grace and mercy. In Jesus' name.
Read Hebrews 4:16
"Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." (NIV)
"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." (KJV)

Amen! I love it...we can approach the 'throne of Grace'...not the 'throne of judgement' with boldness!
ReplyDeletethe throne of judgement is for later..but now...wow...the throne of grace!!!! That grace is for us to rise above sin, as we boldly obey because of His overflowing, glorious grace! Thank you for the reminder of God's Word!
