Luke
19:39,40
"Some of the
Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, 'Teacher, rebuke your disciples!' 'I tell
you,' he replied, 'if they keep quiet, the stones will cry
out.'"NIV
"And some of
the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy
disciples. And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should
hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out."KJV
We are God's most
prized of His creation. It is right that we praise Him continually for His great
love and grace. If we as His prized creation stop praising Him, the stones that
are a part of His lower creation will break out in praise to Him. We wouldn't
want the stones to rob us of our great privilege to praise our
Lord.
Heavenly Father,
may we always have praise on our lips that come from hearts of gratefulness to
our Lord who is worthy of all praise. We pray in His precious name,
Amen.

This is an interesting verse and an interesting concept. It's hard to imagine the stones crying out. That's amazing. Thank you for sharing this encouraging post.
