To forgive those
who have wronged us is not a natural inclination for us. But, the Lord says we
are to forgive others or else we will not be forgiven. To forgive others is to
put away any wrong they have done and never bring it back. That's what our Lord
does with our sins. He throws them to the bottom of the ocean and remembers them
no more. We all need forgiveness, so we also need to learn to
forgive.
Heavenly Father,
we ask for humble hearts to forgive those who have wronged us and hurt us. Make
us aware of our own wrongs so that we can confess them and ask for Your
forgiveness. We pray in Jesus' name, Amen.
