A part of our
sharing in Christ's glory throughout eternity is sharing now in the sufferings
He endured when He walked on this earth. The good news is, sharing in His glory
is so magnificent that our sufferings in this life are insignificant in
comparison. We really are blessed and this promise in the Word of God brings us
such peace. Remember, the words of this scripture were written at a time when
the early Christians were enduring severe persecution. Surely we can endure the
sufferings we experience now.
Heavenly Father,
how grateful we are that our sufferings will pale in comparison to the glory
that awaits us in eternity. Help us to remember these words of comfort when we
go through trials and difficult times. We pray in Jesus' name,
Amen.
