Would any of us
take off on a long, cross country road trip and never take the time to get a map
and study the routes? So many people are doing that very same thing with their
lives. These people go through life taking things as they come with no plan or
preparation for life's detours, washed out bridges, or heavy road construction.
There is no life map that will light the way for us that comes from this world.
The Word of God is the only map that shows us the way we are to go. If we rely
on the Word of God we will arrive at our destination safe and ready for
eternity.
Heavenly Father,
how we thank You for Your Word that lights the way we are to live our lives.
Help us to be more hungry for Your Word and to hide it in our hearts. We ask in
Jesus' name, Amen.
