 1 John 4:19 "We love because He first loved us." NIV "We love him, because he first loved us." KJV In order for us to accept the truth that God loved us from the foundation of existence, we will go through a time of humility. How can God love such disgusting sinners as us? It is truly humbling to know that He loves us just as we are. When we get our hearts and minds wrapped around this great love of God, we can only return this love to Him and to others. Heavenly Father, how we praise You for the unending love You show to us. Help us to realize how blessed we are to be loved unconditionally by You.
