WITNESSES


Acts 1:9


"After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight." NIV


"And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight." KJV


What a great honor to have been among that group of followers who witnessed our Lord ascend from this world to His eternal home. Fellow believers, since we have been given the gift of the Holy Spirit, we can witness the great working and miracles our Lord does every day. How honored we are. And, who knows but that we will be eye witnesses to His return.


Heavenly Father, we praise you and thank you that you have honored us with spiritual eyes to witness your wondrous works every day. We ask that you will help us to keep our eyes open and be alert to your presence and your return. In Jesus' name, Amen

    I say Amen also. How wonderful it would have been to have been there. We didn't see Him leave but we will see Him return.
