BOUGHT AND DEDICATED

1 Corinthians 6:20

"You were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with
your body." (NIV)

"For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in
your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." (KJV)

Before Jesus Christ offered His body to purchase us as
His own, He created our bodies. Then He took all the
penalties of the whole world's sin by a humiliating and cruel
death. He had no sin, He took ours for us. He bought us. If
we have accepted His ownership of our lives, we will make
sure that we honor Him with our bodies and spirits by living
pure and holy lives. We cannot repay Him in any other way.

Heavenly Father, we cannot praise and thank you enough
for the sacrifice of your blood to purchase us from the
bondage of sin. Help us, Lord, to live our lives so that we
bring honor to you and draw others to you. We ask in
Jesus' name. Amen.

  5. Wonderful message of hope. It makes me realized when I get offended and irked by minor irritations, how much Jesus suffered in my place.
