Jesus spoke the words that the Father gave Him to speak.
If we believe the words, we believe the Father. If we truly
believe, we will obey and we will have eternal life with Him.
Heavenly Father, thank you for sending your Son to speak
the words of life to us. Help us to listen and obey. In Jesus'
name.
Read John 5:24
"I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him
who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has
crossed over from death to life." (NIV)
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and
believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall
not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." (KJV)

Thank you so much for sharing God's Word with us this morning. I was just thinking about how blessed we, as Believers, are in knowing that we are not condemed, and that we have eternal life with our Lord when we leave this earthly tent. God bless, Lloyd
ReplyDeleteDisciple of Jesus means follower and student. Lord Jesus means that we are subject to His loving lordship, as our King, who sets orderly decrees out of pure love, for our lives that protect, provide, bring balance and order; not oppressive, but to free. Trust and obey in love.
