Jeremiah 17:7,8
"Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the
Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the
stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is
not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit."

Water is the
vital source of life for every living thing. A tree planted by water, near the
banks, is made strong and enduring from the nutrients and refreshment. The tree
will stand strong with healthy roots through any type of weather, mild or harsh.
Likewise, the Lord is absolutely trustworthy as our source of life and renewal
through any circumstances we might encounter. We can plant ourselves close to
Him.
Heavenly
Father, we give You praise and glory for the bountiful richness You supply to
us. Help us to draw nearer to You so that we will be stronger and more fruitful
by Your presence. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
