1 Thessalonians
4:7
"For God has not called
us for impurity, but in holiness. ESV
When we confess our sin and
believe by faith that Christ died and rose again to redeem us from our sin, He
is our Saviour. He did not intend for us to stop there and "be saved" and keep
on living like we always have. He requires that He become our Lord and Master as
well. If we are living a holy life, it is our testimony that we truly believe He
is our Saviour.
Heavenly Father, how we praise
You and thank You for our salvation You secured for us at the cross. We thank
You and praise You for giving us all we need to live a holy life showing the
world You are our Lord and Saviour. We pray in Jesus' name, Amen.
