Philippians 4:19
"And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches
in glory in Christ Jesus." ESV
The
things we think we need and the things we actually need are often two very different things. We often confuse the two or we
are so used to having the things we need, we merely want God to supply our
wants. What do we really need? We need Christ filling our lives so we can grow
in Him and be holy as He is holy. We can rest assured that the Lord will supply all the things we need because His storehouse
is boundless and glorious.
Heavenly Father,
how we thank You that we can be at peace knowing You will supply all our needs.
Give us hearts of thanksgiving and appreciation for the many blessings You have
given us and seek those Spiritual needs that You so long to give us. Thank You
for Your abundant supply. We pray in Jesus' name, Amen.
