Mark
16:2,3
"Very early
on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the
tomb and they asked each other, 'Who will roll the stone away from the entrance
of the tomb?"' NIV
"And very
early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at
the rising of the sun. And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away
the stone from the door of the sepulchre?" KJV
Little did the
women who went to the tomb that morning know that it had already been opened,
not by human hands but by the power of God. But as they approached they wondered
how they would get the stone moved to get into the tomb to prepare the body of
Jesus. Don't we do the same kinds of things? We wonder how we are going to get
through this, take care of that, and make this or that happen. If we will trust
our Lord, there is no need to worry about the things we cannot do in our own
human strength. God has already unleashed His power and has taken care of things
for us.
