Philippians 2:3

through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others
better than themselves." KJV
Jesus did not come to earth as God. He gave up his deity to
become a man. That was the most unselfish act
ever done. He was pure and sinless, yet died the death of a criminal. That was the most humble act ever done. We are
to be like Christ. In our relationships with
fellow believers, we are to give up our egos and human pride to love and serve others as He did.
Heavenly Father, forgive us for thinking of ourselves and failing to
consider the needs of others. Help us to be more like Your Son, who gave himself
and served all without thinking of Himself. We pray in His precious name,
Amen.
