Hebrews
13:6

with confidence, The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere
mortals to do me?" NIV

can boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do
unto me." KJV
We live in such a
frightening and unstable world. It seems reasonable that fear is on the rise and
running rampant, even for Christians. But, as Christians, we have this sure
hope: Our God is forever watching over us, going with us through all things, and
taking care of any circumstance that Satan means for our harm. There is no
reason for us to fear anyone, be it world leaders, people in authority, or the
people next door, because the Lord is our Helper and is on call 24/7 and for
eternity.
Heavenly Father,
how thankful we are that we serve a God who is constantly watching out for us
and helping us get through this life. Help us to exercise our faith to conquer
the fears that come on us because of the way the world is. We pray this in the
name of our Lord Jesus, Amen.
